Insensitivity on the Internet It has become increasingly evident to me that people, myself included, should give serious thought to anything that they post anywhere on the internet. It doesn't matter if it is in a blog, in an email, an IM, or a forum post somewhere on the world wide web. Our words can be misunderstood so easily because the typed word doesn't reflect our voice, or the looks on our faces. I believe that the type day the person reading it is having has a lot to do with how they understand it. If they're having a bad day, chances are pretty good that they are going to take what you've written different than the way it was intended. The internet is a wonderful thing, and I personally don't know what I would ever do without it now, but I think we all need to really think about what we are trying to say before we type it out and hit that button. Once you hit enter, send, or submit, our words pretty much are there forever! Contributor's Note JMO
